Barrel Aged Open Road

Some beers are aged. This one evolved.

Barrel-Aged Open Road began as our award-winning American Brown Ale, then spent 12 patient months resting in freshly emptied GrainHenge Meeting Creek whisky barrels—the very whisky it helped inspire. The result? A beautifully complex sipper layered with vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and subtle notes of dark fruit and coconut.

Matured in character. Balanced in strength. Released when it could speak for itself.

Barrel Aged Open Road

Barrel-Aged Open Road pours deep brown with ruby highlights and an aged ivory head. It’s bold, familiar, and layered with intent—every sip a nod to the journey that started it all. Vanilla, chocolate, and coffee lead the way, softened by coconut and kissed with dark fruit. What began as an award-winning brown ale has matured into something richer, rounder, and profoundly patient.

Smooth. Complex. Meant to linger.

This isn’t just a comeback, it’s a reunion.
From beer to whisky and back again, this road comes full circle.

Available exclusively in the taproom.

The Road to Greatness Isn’t Paved—It’s Earned

Open Road was never just a beer, it was a benchmark. A trailblazer that carved its name into Canadian brewing with quiet confidence and nine medals to prove it.

Now, it returns with new depth, having rested for a year in the very barrels that once held the whisky it inspired. This is tradition and innovation meeting halfway. Patience, poured.

Built for those who go the long way. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s right.

That’s Open Road.
