Fall & Oats

A dark, flavourful beer with a complex aroma of molasses and coffee offering a surprisingly light and balanced taste, perfect for the season.

What's Inside

This beer is a very dark reddish-brown – nearly black and generates a dark tan head. The aroma is delightfully complex with mollasses, coffee, cocoa and rye bread at the fore. The body is strickingly light so that the sweet and rich dark malts never feel cloying even though you can taste treacle, chocolate and toffee along side the roasted and toasty malt flavours that give it a nice savoury finish. Far more sessionable than your eyes might have you believe, it matches the season wonderfully.

Fall & Oats

Out of Touch

When that first leaf falls, we all feel it. The air starts to get a little crisper, autumn spices are sprinkled in our favourite foods and beverages; the season makes us want to get cozy and spend time with our loved ones.

Like the music of Daryl Hall and John Oates, this new brew makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. It’s familiar and happy. So crack a Fall & Oats, turn up your favourite feel-good playlist and slip into stout heaven!

Stout is a very dark, top-fermented beer with many variations: dry stout, milk stout, imperial stout, oatmeal stout, etc. Historically, the term ‘stout’ was actually given to any strongly alcoholic beers. Stouts are stronger versions of mild ale. Stouts are typically opaque but if any light does find its way through the beer should be clear. The nose should be grainy and can carry hints of coffee, chocolate, licorice, and molasses with no apparent hops. The flavor is similar to the nose and should be rich and full. The mouthfeel should be anything but watery.

Fun Fact: Though they are well-known as ‘Hall & Oates’, the musical duo is technically called ‘Daryl Hall and John Oates’. Fans shortened it to ‘Hall & Oates’ as it has a better ring to it!
