Welcome To The Troubled Trolley – The Ultimate Red Deer Adventure
Tours fill up fast—don’t miss out! One round is just enough to leave you wanting more.

What Is A Troubled Trolley Tour?
It’s not just a ride — it’s a moving vibe. Climb aboard the Troubled Trolley, Red Deer’s original pedal-powered party built for loud laughs, cold drinks, and unforgettable experiences on the town.
The Troubled Trolley is built for birthdays, breakups, team bonding, or just because-it’s-Tuesday kind of nights.
Round up your crew, queue up the playlist, and get ready to turn heads as you roll through the city’s best spots. Whether you’re cruising past breweries or coasting into chaos, it’s your night—powered by pedals, fueled by fun.
Not sure what to expect? A few pit stops, a whole lot of music, and even more side-eyes from jealous onlookers. Let’s ride.
Is It Really A Party?
It can be — but you set the tone. The bike’s equipped with Bluetooth speakers and party lights, so play your own playlist or let your server DJ.
Whether it’s a booze-free rendezvous with the kids or your granny, or a rowdy ride that gets loud and wild, we’ll match your energy.
You’re in charge. We’re just here to pedal and stir the pot.

Safety’s part of the ride. The Troubled Trolley is a slow-moving vehicle with both a guide and driver on every ride. We’re equipped with a full safety kit, including a first aid kit, and helmets are available upon request *helmets mandatory for riders under 18.
Just follow the crew’s lead, keep your drink in the cupholder, and you’ll be cruising trouble-free.
Rain or Shine, We Ride! (you might even end up rocking a signature Troubled Monk poncho!) Be sure to dress for the weather, as we head into fall, you might need to stock up on our merch to stay warm if you don’t bring a jacket!
That said, if extreme weather rolls in, we may reschedule the tour at Troubled Monk’s discretion to keep everyone safe and dry(ish).
Dress for the weather and the pedals. Short skirts? Risky.
Heels and flip-flops? Bad idea. Closed-toe shoes are your best bet — trust us, the bike eats flip flops for breakfast.
Bring only what you need. Small bags can be tucked away on board and anything loose in your pocket might not make it home, it’s best to let us store it in our tote on board.
And yes — theme outfits and costumes are fully encouraged. Just make sure you can still pedal (and dance) in them.
Anyone above the 6th grade. If you have a lil troublemaker in your group, they’ll need to be at least 12 years old, as per Alberta Transportation.
The Trolley has some bench seating to support limited mobility, but riders must be able to board on their own. Please note: the Trolley is not wheelchair accessible.
Riders must be 18+ to consume alcohol on board. If there’s a minor (under 18) on board, no alcohol can be consumed during the ride — full stop.
Valid ID is required for all riders.
Tour prices don’t include drinks or food — but you’re welcome to pre-purchase snacks and your craft beverages from Troubled Monk before the ride and we will load them into the onboard cooler to stay perfectly chilled.
Select tours include stops at local hotspots where you can grab a bite or another round.
The exception? Our “Just One Round” tour — it includes one beverage per rider!
We don’t include gratuity. If you choose to tip, it means a lot.
Because the AGLC law says so.
Our license doesn’t allow any alcohol consumption when minors are on board — even if the adults are behaving themselves. (We know… we’re working on it.)
You can fit up to 16 Troublemakers on the bike at once. Each tour requires a minimum of 8 adult (18+) riders to get rolling. There are 12 pedalling seats and bench seating for 4 non-pedallers — perfect for those who prefer to sit back, relax, and watch everyone else do the work.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We know life happens — here’s how to handle it
Standard Tours:
• 8+ days out: Full refund or reschedule — easy.
• 2–7 days out: 50% refund or reschedule.
• Less than 48 hours: No refund, no reschedule. Sorry, the Trolley rolls on without you.
Weather Policy:
We ride rain or shine — it adds character. That said, if severe weather hits, we may cancel or delay the tour for safety. If we call it, you’ll get a rain check, no problem.
Minimum Riders:
We need at least 8 riders to roll. If you don’t hit that number, standard cancellation rules apply.
Late Arrivals:
Don’t be late — we roll on time. If you arrive late, the tour will still go ahead but with a shortened route and will end at the original scheduled time. No refunds or rescheduling for late arrivals, so plan ahead and be ready to ride.
Depending on your troublemaking tour, there can be up to two stops along the route. You’ll have time to stretch your legs, hit the facilities, switch seats, and check out a local hotspot (or two).
Our “Just for a Round” tour skips the stops — it’s a straight cruise with one beverage included, no detours.
Hard no. No outside beverages allowed — that means no coffees, no water bottles, and definitely no vodka in your Stanley. All alcoholic beverages must be pre-purchased from Troubled Monk before your tour begins, don’t worry, we always have non alcs available for purchase on board.
We’ve got everything you need, including water available for purchase. AGLC rules don’t mess around, and neither do we.
